CoWIN App Registration: Children aged 15-18 years can register with School IDs for vaccination

CoWIN App Registration: One thing different for students is that instead of a compulsory Aadhaar, or Driving License, or Passport, children can be registered using their school ID cards.

Today is the third day of the second phase of the Kovid vaccination campaign. Vaccination slots are limited and vaccinated in crores. In this case, the system of registration has been made. Currently, people over the age of 60 are vaccinated. Apart from this, people above 45 years of age who have co-morbidities can also get vaccinated. There are only two ways to register. One is the CoWIN portal whose address is http://www.cowin.gov.in and the other is the Arogya Setu App in which the CoWIN app has been integrated. There is no CoWIN app for registration on Play Store. Let us tell you how you can register in both the ways.

Register like this through Arogya Setu App

  • Open Aarogya Setu in your smartphone.
  • The CoWIN window will appear on the far right.
  • If you click on it, many options will appear. From among them click on Vaccination (Login/Register).
  • Enter your mobile number and click on Procees to verify. An OTP will come through SMS, fill it.
  • After that the registration page will open.
  • Here you have to fill the photo ID type, its number and your full name. You will also need to provide your gender and age information.
  • If you are registering as Senior Citizen then click on Register button and in next popup click on No.
  • If you have a co-morbidity, click on Register and click on Yes when asked “Do you have any comorbidities (pre-existing medical conditions)”. Click to view list of co-morbidities.
  • You will get SMS once the registration is complete.
